Quiz – an overview

What is it for?

This template is great for making interactive quizzes with multiple choice and slider answers options. It lets you create feedback responses depending on how users answer each question, as well as custom finish cards based on how well they've done.

How to get started

1: There are three tabs of data in the Quiz template: Questions, Feedback and End result. For the Questions tab, you'll need columns for the question text, input type (slider or multiple choice) and correct answer. For multiple choice questions, you'll also need a column that contains all the answer options, separated by /.; You can also add columns providing an explanation to your questions and a suffix for slider questions that describes the value (e.g. % or people).
2: For the feedback tab, make sure you've copied the question name exactly so the feedback matches up to the correct question. You'll need at least two rows for each question, specifying which answers they should apply to with the Answer binding.; For slider answers, you can use number ranges with - or select all answers with *. More specific scores take priority, for example, it will use 4 over 0-10 over *.; Bear in mind that number ranges are inclusive of the first value but exclusive of the second value. For example, providing a feedback row for answers 0-3 will show this feedback for the answers of 0, 1 and 2, but not 3. To include 3, you'd need to use the range 0-4.; You can use the Text and Media bindings to add your custom content to your feedback. Read more about how to add images to your visualization.
3: In the End result tab, you can decide which response to give to the final scores and give them each a separate row. You can add images or gifs here too.
4: In the Preview tab, use the settings on the right-hand side to customize your quiz' styling.
5: Add advanced scoring by switching the toggle under Scoring called "Advanced scoring settings". Here you can create a free zone for slider questions where close answers (within a given percentage range) are also treated as correct.
