Data privacy with the different account types

Free accounts

When you create a Flourish account, this generates a Free user profile that includes your username and name as supplied to Flourish, plus any additional information you may choose to add to your profile.

Your projects (visualizations and stories) will not be shown on this profile page by default, but any templates you have built with our  SDK and published to Flourish will be publicly visible on your profile page and will be available for use by all users.

However, you can choose to display your published projects on this page. To do this:

    1
Go to the My account page

    2
    Click Edit profile

    3
Tick the box next to  List my published projects on my public profile page, the click Save.

Your published projects will now display publicly on your profile page.

Business accounts

For users on Business accounts, all of your projects and template are private to your company by default. You can share unpublished projects with other members of your organization who have Flourish accounts. Just send them a link to the project.

If you have a Business account, you can also publish your projects behind a password. This is useful for sharing them with colleagues who don’t have a Flourish account or people outside of your company, like customers. Click here for more information about password-protected projects.

We are fully GDPR compliant, and we do not store cookies on published visualizations. You can find more information about the data we do store on our privacy page.
